### Autocatalytic population growth model

Here, in time $\displaystyle{ \Delta t }$ the population grows by $\displaystyle{ \alpha\cdot y \cdot(A-y) }$ elements: $\displaystyle{ \Delta y = \alpha\cdot y\cdot \Delta t \cdot(A-y) }$, that is $\displaystyle{ \frac{\Delta y}{\Delta t} = \alpha\cdot y \cdot(A-y) }$.

With $\displaystyle{ \Delta t\to 0 }$ we get $\displaystyle{ \frac{d y}{d t} = \alpha\cdot y \cdot (A-y) }$, i.e. $\displaystyle{ y' = \alpha\cdot y \cdot (A-y) }$.

The initial population is $\displaystyle{ y(0)= s }$, $\displaystyle{ A := 5 }$.

The blue line is the simulation with $\displaystyle{ \Delta t = 0.1 }$.
